Federal Skilled Trades Program (Express Entry)
The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) is for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents based on being qualified in a skilled trade.
Eligibility Criteria for FSTP
Skilled trades work experience – At least 2 years of full-time work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work experience) in a skilled trade within the 5 years before you apply
Skilled trades work experience means that you’ve worked in 1 of the Skilled trades NOC groups.
The work experience must be paid work including paid wages or earned commission.
Job offer or certificate of qualification: You must have a job offer of full-time employment for at least 1 year or certificate of qualification in skilled trade NOC.
Language Ability: You must take the approved language tests and meet the minimum score required. The language test results must be valid on the date of PR application.

Education: There is no education requirement for the Federal Skilled Trades Program.
Proof of Funds: You must have enough funds for you and your family to settle in Canada unless you are currently working in Canda or have a valid job offer from Canadian employer.
Admissibility: You must be admissible to Canada.
